Shamini Ghay is the founder and CEO of SAI Academy. She has called Orlando “home” for over a decade and is proud to be involved in the Central Florida community. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and was an award winning medical professional at the Florida Hospital for Children before transitioning to follow her calling as a visionary in the field of education.

The idea for SAI Academy came from her desire to create a holistic approach for aspiring athletes through an elite sports academy environment – one that focuses on cultivating strong personal character as well as developing elite athletes.

Her motivation to bring the vision of SAI Academy to Orlando stems from her time spent with youth in her community, as both a medical professional and in her time working in education. This motivation is rooted in her passion to create a bridge between alternative educational approaches and elite athletic training.
